On the 20th of May, a Malaysian girl who visited a friend of hers was lured into an empty hut said to have been a local drug hideout - was allegedly raped by 38 men

Following the incident, we yesterday received reports that the Malaysian police have arrested 13 men associated with the assault and are still on the search for the other perpetrators.

Sadly, it is reported that the men raped her in turns which lasted for a couple of hours and the police are investigating if her friend was also raped.

Despite people accusing her 17-year-old friend of being involved in the incident, the victim has moved strongly to deny those allegations saying that her friend is innocent of what happened and therefore shouldn't be accused.

Several of the men arrested have been tested of amphetamine and the police chief, Azham Otham while speaking to the media confirmed that 38 men were involved in the crime.

However, the police chief has criticized the villagers for not reporting the addict's presence on time which would have led to their arrest and prevented the rape incident.
"It is very disturbing to me that no one in the village was even suspicious when the closest neighbour was a mere 20 metres away, they would have been arrested and the crime wouldn't have taken place." said the police chief.
