Joan earlier reported that Kim's mother and manager, Kris Jenner had said she will never allow her daughter use 'West' as her name as the 'Kardashian' name is already very popular and a brand name. But after Kim added 'West' to her names, her mother reportedly said she will "fight it tooth and nail".
A source close to the family said,
"There is no way Kris would ever give her blessing for the main cash cow of the Kardashian empire, to not continue to use that name professionally. She plans to fight it tooth and nail."Kardashian is such a huge cash-bringing name from TV Shows, Clothing & Fashion and Cosmetics - this has made her mom swear never to allow her edit the money-vomiting name.
The source added,
"In fact, if Kris (Kim's mother) thought she could get Kanye to change his last name to Kardashian, she absolutely would."Come to think of it, when Kim's younger sister, Khloe, got married to her now-estranged husband, Lamar Odom, she officially changed her name to Khloe Kardashian-Odom and her mother didn't fight it, so why now?
Anyways, we all know that Kanye West had his influences on Kim even before they got married and this has compelled him to ban her from appearing on their popular TV show.
