Toluene
It is found in products such as nail polish and hair dye. It harms the nervous system and can cause different neurological disorders including dementia.
Benzophenones
It can be found in foundations, lip balms, fragrances, nail polish, conditioner, shampoo, baby sunscreens and hairsprays. It may cause allergic reactions including skin rashes and anaphylactic shock.
Parabens
It is found in shampoos, shower gels, lotions and conditioners. It may cause endocrine
disruption and breast cancer.
Lead
It is found in eye shadow, foundation, eyeliner and lipstick, lip glosses, lipsticks and lipliners as well as in mascaras, hair dyes, foundations and blushes. It causes cancer and infertility.
Talk
It is found in blush and pressed powder, foundation, baby powders, feminine hygiene products, deodorants, powdered eyeshadows, lipsticks, and facemasks. It causes ovarian cancer.
