How to Handle Breakup no Matter How Hurt you are

The moment immediately after a breakup is not when to start a blog. Come on, we all know what your first post will be like!

Some behaviours are better left for teenagers and kids.

The very idea of trying to hurt someone or yourself just because they told you they are no longer in love with you doesn't portray someone who is emotionally mature.

No matter how bad the breakup was, or how terribly they went about it, you should never descend to the level of doing the 10 things listed here below:

Indirect insults on social media

“It’s crazy how some people cannot even act right in a relationship.”

Don’t post such message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

You might not mention names, but we all know you are talking about the babe you just broke up with.
Trying to ruin their reputation

Don’t publish their nude pictures or reveal secrets that might embarrass them.

Doing so only makes you look petty, and of course petty is not what you want to be known as.
Asking for gifts back

There are only fewer things more childish and sillier than this.

Why should you ask for a gift back after you have given it to someone? No matter how you look at it, no matter how expensive the gift is, just take your mind off it.

It’s theirs now, let it go.

Endless drinking

Ok. If you like to drown the pain away like that, you are permitted to drink away the misery for one night. No more.

Continuous, uninhibited drinking over a guy/girl that broke your heart is not tasteful, and as an adult who is responsible, you should be thinking of better ways to get through this than drinking yourself into more gloom.
Taking the drama to their place of work

This sounds totally crazy but it happens. Believe me, guys, it happens.

However, you must never take personal matters such as this to anyone’s office or place of work, no matter how hurt you are, or how desperately you want them back.
Trying to earn the support of his family and friends

I have witnessed this several times and I have to say it is totally wrong and underhanded. It is a trick of kids and not befitting of anyone who calls himself an adult.

Calling a girl’s family and reporting how they unjustly dumped you will not bring the girl back, it only spreads the news of how much of a loser you are.

I would even love to ask, really, what do you expect the family to do? Leave their son or daughter and take you as theirs? LOL.

Just get over it, bro.

Bad-mouthing their bedroom skills

The moment after a guy breaks up with you should not be the time you remember that he is a one-minute man, or that there isn’t much difference between his thing and a toothpick.

Never go about describing how a lady’s private body parts look to all your guys just because she broke up with you, no matter how wickedly she went about it.

Swallow the pain, you’ll be alright.
Calling with hidden numbers

Calling from unlisted numbers and cussing the hell out of them, pleading or hanging up just after hearing their voice is totally crazy.

Let’s drop this act for teenagers, please.
Taking out your anger on every member of the opposite sex

That guy or babe at your place of work did not break your heart. Stop yelling at them for no reason.
Starting a blog

When you just went through a bad breakup and all of a sudden, you remember to start that your wordpress site; and unsurprisingly, heartless men are the subject of your first, second, third, fourth, and infact all your posts…
