 Mûrasi is a 179 Indian man born in Bangalore in January 6th, 1835. He

        President Goodluck Jonathan and Gen. Muhammadu Buhari can no 
longer be replaced as flag bearers of Peoples Democratic Party and All 
Progressives Congress (APC) respectively for the 2015 presidential 
election.<br />

Their fate as presidential candidates appears to have been sealed as 
today serves as the last day for presidential candidates to withdraw 
from the contest and for their parties to field a new candidate, 
according to the electoral guideline set by the Independent National 
Electoral Commission (INEC).<br />

The same also applies to candidates in the National Assembly elections across the country.<br />

However, the governorship and State Assembly aspirants have up till 
January 13, 2015 to withdraw and have their parties file in their 
replacements.<br />

The presidential and National Assembly elections are billed to hold 
on February 14, 2015, while that of the governorship and State Assembly 
holds February 28.<br />

According to the electoral guidelines by INEC, December 30, 2014 
marks the last day “for withdrawal of candidates and replacement of 
withdrawn candidates by political parties.”<br />

This provision is in accordance with Section 35 of the Electoral Act 
2010 as amended, which provides for candidates to make up their minds on
 their candidature not later than 45 days before the election.<br />

Besides Jonathan and Buhari, some other presidential candidates 
include Action Alliance, Tunde Anifowose-Kelani; Kowa Party, Prof 
Oluremi Sonaiya; United Progressives Party, Chief Chekwas Okorie; and 
National Conscience Party, Chief Martin Onovo.<br />

Others are African Democratic Congress, Dr Ibrahim Nani; United 
Democratic Party, Godson Okoye; Alliance for Democracy, Rafiu Salau; 
Peoples Party of Nigeria, Kelvin Alagoa.<br />

Allied Congress Party of Nigeria is fielding Alhaji Ganiyu Oseni; 
African Peoples Alliance, Alhaji Adebayo Ayeni; and Hope Democratic 
Party, Ambrose Owuru.<br />

This comes as INEC deployed its resident electoral commissioners 
(RECs) in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of
 the 2015 general polls.<br />

In a letter dated 24th December, 2014 and signed by the secretary to 
the commission, Mrs Augusta C. Ogakwu, the RECs were directed to 
conclude all handing and taking over formalities by Wednesday, 31st 
December, 2014.<br />

In
 a move that seems to betray his fears ahead of the February 2015 
general elections, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has quietly moved 
his children to the United Kingdom.
Presidency sources said the action was  based on security advice.<br />

Militant elements from Jonathan’s Ijaw ethnic group have been 
threatening war if he loses the election. For the first time, Nigeria’s 
opposition has come together to forge a strong alliance through the All 
Progressives Congress (APC), whose presidential candidate, Muhammadu 
Buhari, is currently making waves across the country.<br />

Jonathan’s Special Adviser (Media & Publicity) Reuben Abati had 
on Sunday issued a statement that his boss “left Abuja this afternoon 
for a brief private visit to the United Kingdom.”<br />

“The President was accompanied on the trip by some of his principal staff and personal aides,” he said.<br />

Both Abati and Jonathan’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs 
Doying Okupe did not reply to enquiries by News Express on why their 
principal chose to move his children abroad. Before their relocation, 
Jonathan’s children were living with him and First Lady Patience 
Jonathan in the Presidential Villa while receiving an education at an 
elitist school in the Nigerian capital.<br />

Why i have infected over 300 men with HIV, Student confesses

A female student in Kenya has revealed that she has infected a total of 324 men with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
<br />
The HIV positive girl, who attends the Kabarak University in Nakuru, is said to have been infected by a man at a party.<br />

The unidentified 19-year old is allegedly aiming to infect a total of 2000 men in revenge.<br />

According to reports:<br />

The girl allegedly contacted Kenyan Scandals on Facebook and claimed she had something to confess.<br />

After she was assured her identity was going to be protected (the 
Kenyan Daily Post, however, published a picture from her Facebook 
profile along with the article) she wrote: <em>“Sep 22nd 2013 is a day 
I”ll never forget, we went clubbing in town and got drunk with some 
senior students then went back hostels for party round 2″</em>.<br />

She then explained that when she woke up, the morning after, she 
realised a boy called Javan had had s3x with her while she was drunk.<br />

<blockquote>
“I only asked if he used a condom and he said yes, 
however when taking bath I noticed sperms down there, I wanted to commit
 suicide, I feared getting pregnant and HIV.”</blockquote>
When she discovered she was HIV positive, the girl confronted Javan who insisted he was clean.<br />

<blockquote>
“I was so depressed and took alcohol to die, I even 
bought poison, the pain was just unbearable how was I gone face the 
world, I let my parents down, I gave up on the world and just wanted to 
end my life. My future had been ruined, somehow someone had to pay,” the
 girl said.<br />

“I accepted my fate and promised to make all men I come across 
suffer, I know I’m attractive and men both married and unmarried chase 
me left right and centre.<br />

“I buried the good girl in me and became the bad girl, my goal was to infect as many as possible,” she explained.</blockquote>
The girl then confessed she had already infected 324 men, 156 of 
which are students at the Kabarak University where she studies, the rest
 are married men, lecturers, lawyers, celebrities and politicians.<br />

<blockquote>
“Not a day passes without me having s3x, mostly 4 people 
per day,” she continued in her confession. “Your day is coming, you men 
destroyed my life and I will make you and your people pay for it”</blockquote>

 gang up with some people especially Friday nights who pay the drivers 
and the touts a ‘little’ extra to be sort of hired.<br />

They will then put some porn, loud porn and couples will seat and 
start watching. The touts will even plan with prostitutes who embark in 
the matatus just incase some guys forgot to come with a partner.<br />

Ever heard of live sex shows? Or sex orgy? Well that is what happens.<br />

Seen one and you will be surprised. At times as many as 10 people or 
more in the same Matatu. The driver will start moving, obviously with 
his clande at the seat to keep him busy….The others wil start with 
erotic music and the ladies (who i still tend to think are more 
prostitutes than girlfriends). This strip show then starts right there.<br />

Depending with how long men can handle watching porn and strippers, the will then move on to the next step.<br />

Unfortunately little can be done to stem this. I want to believe it 
was by luck (good or bad) that i got to see this in one Matatu this 
week.<br />

Next time you are in town very late, be mindful of the matatu you 
take. We are yet to know how many routes engage in this and am sure most
 men will want to board one such ride. But hey be careful. CDs are 
scarce (unless you carry your own) and again, the women in the buses i 
believe are prostitutes. So you will have to pay a little extra to the 
drivers and touts, pay a little more than extra to the women and if you 
are new, you may as well go home empty.

The Minister of Police Affairs, 
Jelili Adesiyan, on Monday, said a plot by former President Olusegun 
Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives 
Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to form an interim 
government has been uncovered.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The minister said this in Lagos at the 
launch of a book titled, ‘Watch the Watcher,’ written by an activist, 
Yinka Odumakin, in reaction to Obasanjo’s controversial book, ‘My 
Watch’.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Adesiyan said he had already directed the
 Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State
 Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of 
the 2015 elections.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He
 said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no 
longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have 
started to heat up the polity. They have said they will form a parallel 
government if they lose.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“I have already told the IG and the DSS to arrest anybody making such mutinous and inflammatory statements.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Adesiyan said his suspicion was fuelled 
by a threat by the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the APC 
would form a parallel government if the 2015 general elections were 
rigged.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He added, “Obasanjo is already planning 
to install an interim government with Buhari. But we will vote and we 
will work with whoever wins the election.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Adesiyan, who was detained in 2003 for 
the murder of the Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, said the former 
President was vindictive and was fighting Jonathan because he (Jonathan)
 had refused to be used by him.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The minister, who was later freed over 
Ige’s murder, said Obasanjo picked Jonathan as the late President Umaru 
Yar’Adua’s running mate because he felt he could control him but his 
plans backfired.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The minister said, “He picked a President
 that was sick and while we were campaigning for the President, he 
(Yar’Adua) was always in Germany receiving treatment. While many were 
lobbying for the VP slot, Obasanjo picked a gentleman, Goodluck 
Jonathan, who had no strong political base so that he could control him.</div>

“Unfortunately for Obasanjo, God had a 
better plan and Jonathan refused to be used. Obasanjo, being the man 
that he is, has now teamed up with Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar to 
snatch power but Tinubu will outsmart him because we Osun people are 
smart. Ask Tinubu, he is my brother, from my state. He is from Iragbiji 
while I am from Ode-Omu.”</div>

The Director of Communications, Buhari 
Campaign Organisations, Dele Alake, said it was silly for anyone to say 
that Buhari was plotting the emergence of an interim government when 
Buhari was also participating in the presidential election.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said, “It must have dawned on 
Nigerians that the PDP don’t have any answer to the multifarious 
problems plaguing Nigeria and that is why they have resorted to 
mudslinging and character assassination.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“If Buhari was planning an interim 
government, why would he be running for President in the first place? I 
think sanity has taken leave from them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Buhari remains the only viable solution 
to the quagmire that Nigeria has fallen into and it will take a 
disciplined person like Buhari to straighten things out.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When contacted, a source close to 
Obasanjo, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said it was only the 
ex-president that could react to the allegation.</div>

The source told our correspondent on the telephone, “It is only Baba that can react to the matter.”</div>

 truth.  Let me quickly step out of the way to allow you digest every 
bit of the commandments. Where they make you laugh, laugh. Where they 
knock on your head, allow the pain to penetrate very well. After all, 
chloroquine is bitter yet it used in dealing with malaria. I’m out of 
the way. The next voice you will hear is yours.<br />

1. Thou shall not date any guy out of sympathy. It is not worth it. It has never worth the pain. Ladies beware!<br />

2. Thou shall not do revenge relationship a.k.a let me show my 
boyfriend I can flirt too.  Ladies, that is inflicting more injuries on 
yourself<br />

3. Thou shall not depend on any man for your daily needs. It has brought more pains than joy to some ladies. Ladies, please!<br />

4. Thou shall never fight over a man. Such men usually don’t have 
regard for  ladies. Ladies, you can ask around if you are in doubt!<br />

5. Thou shall not remain in a violent relationship. You are supposed 
to be his sweetheart not a punching bag. If he’s looking for whom to 
punch, refer him to Mike Tyson. Ladies, abi?<br />

6. Thou shall not give <strong>IT</strong> to him. If he wants<strong> IT</strong> that desperately, he should put a ring on it. Funny enough, men can wait if they see you worth it. True!<br />

7. Be bold when men toast you. Stop cutting flowers or drawing 
circles with your leg. Enjoy the ‘toasting’. Don’t forget to pay 
attention to the  pick up lines. Some pick up lines can crack your ribs.<br />

8. If you are not sure of your man especially if the relationship is 
still new, never take your girlfriend to his house or give her his 
number or BB pin. Odikwa very risky!<br />

9.  As soon as you can, let your man show his face to your people. Your sister or brother or mother. This is very key.<br />

10. Material possessions are good but never let them be the number one  factor in choosing a man.<br />

11. Do not forget the golden rule. Always sit like a woman. Some men 
act like babies when a woman is not properly seated. You know what I 
mean!<br />

12. Never think you can trap a man with good sex. Fou fou fou… foul!  It is an aberration.<br />

13. Be good to men but be firm. Yes firm but don’t scare them away.<br />

14. Men are not in short supply. Don’t let them deceive you. Don’t 
believe anything in the contrary. Don’t be stampeded into a 
relationship.<br />

15. If your purpose for financing a man is to keep him, that could be a big mistake. Finance for the right reasons.<br />

16. Men are not the same. Don’t listen to “men are the same jare!” 
It’s a lie! How many men have you met out of about six billion people on
 earth? You see am nau, abi?<br />

17. Adventures can be sweet. However, never embark on a long trip to meet a man without informing someone. Never!<br />

18. Guys have a way of saying “don’t let anybody know about us yet.” If the relationship is up to three months and counting, <em>somebody should know about it jor! Better things, they no dey hide am.</em><br />

19. They say good girls love bad boys. And as a good girl, you are looking for a bad boy to love? <em>OYO for you!</em> Let bad girls love bad boys and good girls love good boys.  Nobody should use your head to catch a bullet.<br />

20. Enjoy being single. It does not last forever.</div>

town in Adamawa State.Mubi town though appears a shadow of itself after

over by Boko Haram insurgents about a month ago.Life is slowly coming
 back to the once bubbling city where thousands of cows are transported 
to the southern part of the country.Our correspondent who was among 
several journalists conducted round the city including Maiha, Mubi 
South, Hong and Gombi local government areas by some security guides and
 men of the state emergency (ADSEMA) saw heartbroken specimen.<br />

Among the specimens were remain of dead bodies that have 
decomposed with some mere skeletons, there are also burnt or destroyed 
vehicles,motorcycles, burnt homes including blown up structures, 
churches and other valuable items. Movement to see the destruction first
 hand started from Yola to Hong<br />

for a briefing by Commanding Officer of the rank of Brigadier 
General expressed the hope that what eventually comes out from the media
 could help the people to go back to their homes.After the address, the 
movement began through Hon – Pella – Maiha with scenes of dead cows used
 as shifts by the insurgents who use every trick they can muster.<br />

Along the route the longest bridge just before maiha the 
local government headquarters the insurgents blew it up.This is a 
setback for government in its efforts at providing infrastructural and 
economic development to the people.One could see some vehicles and 
houses having the insurgents insignia of Allahu Akbar (God is great).<br />

Damages caused to structures and vehicles along these 
routes especially churches and mosques was unquantifiable.From there, 
entering Mubi was somewhat scary in the near absence of movement of 
people, you could see people trekking from one place to the other with 
livid fear on their faces when they saw our approach and were only 
relieved when soldiers waved pleasantly at them.Entering Mubi one could 
see that there were activities at the army barracks while the roads 
where dry of any vehicular movements except that of the security 
personnel.<br />

The mood inside the barracks was that of joy especially as 
they celebrate the joy of having dealt serious blows on the 
intransigent Haram boys who might <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD2">have been</span>
 dreaming of el dorado with the make belief that they can subdue our 
able bodied young men who are very eager to make their nation 
proud.Inside some of the soldiers mind one might say is the thinking, 
“we are ready to take on the world because we fear and will fear no 
one”.Discoveries revealed that about 75% of the Haram fighters are 
Chadians and Nigerians while the remaining fraction are Nigerians.Most 
of those interviewed in the Mubi market swore that the Chadian President
 is behind the crisis and except the Nigerian government reacts toughly,
 the country will be in for it.A provision seller, Abdullahi, who said, 
he just started to open within the past few days said the insurgents 
speak Arabic and are violent.Asked why he believes the insurgents prefer
 to kill Nigerians, he said it could be because Nigerians have 
lackadaisical attitude to life and are extravagant.<br />

“These same people in the past had wanted to overthrow President 
Derby who came to power as a result of rebellion can only mean Derby 
will be ready to help them do anything since he wants to keep them off 
his shoulders even if it is for a while”, he insist.Asked if life will 
be the same for him again and he was quick to say never, cause so much 
lessons are being learnt from what is happening.A visit to the Mubi 
General Hospital was like visiting a grave yard becauseas only a few 
stray goats were seen roaming from abandoned offices and wards and or 
lizards.<br />

But before then, all the banks in Mubi were browned off by 
the insurgents except for the mainstream Bank situated around the 
Emirs Palace.At the Emir’s Palace itself, the Haram insurgents desecrated the palace to an extend that it will take millions to rehabilitate.<br />

However, the sight of dead bodies litering the vicinity oozing 
bad odour could cause an epidemic such as cholera as a patent medicine <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">dealer</span>
 alerted.He pleaded with the government to as a matter of urgency act 
fast before it is too late.At Mararaba where a ferocious fight took 
place, we saw soldiers cooking food by themselves and what a sight to 
behold as they sweat stirring the food in a mighty and gigantic 
pot.Moving from the petrol station by the side of a big mosque 
tampered with by bullets, we reached the point where a suicide bomber 
blew himself in the middle of the road not just causing a very deep 
crater but the resultant effect was the crumbling of a very mighty 
EYN church, hospital, Schools and trees that got burnt.<br />

There at Mararaba were charred or destroyed armoured tanks and 
all three belonged to the Haram chaps who having stolen them painted 
them in their colour with the Arabic signs.In short, the Haram Criminals
 also blew up a bridge at Kalaa in an attempt to stop the eager and 
victorious Nigerian soldiers from catchup with them.But what matters 
most as for now, is to further boost the morale of our soldiers who have
 proven critics wrong by bringing smiles on the faces of the 
people.People should not hesitate to go back home because they are safe 
and protected.Its just a matter of time as the insurgents will surely be
 wiped out.<br />

<em>But before I drop my biro, I felt so disenchanted with the Arabic </em><em>journalists from Al-Jazeera (both Sudanese) who were asking the SEMA </em><em>Secretary if what they saw was not an infringement of human rights by </em><em>our forces and thank God the secretary only replied “is it human right </em><em>for the insurgents to attack and infringed on the rights of innocent </em><em>Nigerians?.</em><em>The Al-Jazeera reporters came to Yola and bumped into the movement to </em><em>the devastated local governments.</em><br />

<em> </em><em>I thinks the nation should watch the activities of these foreign media </em><em>who have always misinformed, un-educated people about the true </em><em>position of things.</em><br />

<em> </em><em>Finally, cherio Nigerian soldiers this is because it was thought you </em><em>could not do it but you have proven everyone wrong by your devastation </em><em>on the enemies of this country.</em><em>After the recapture of Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Hong and Gombi,</em><em>it is just a matter of time Michika and Madagali will follow suit.</em><br />

Buhari Refuse to Submit Academic Qualifications to INEC

 candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Muhammadu 
Buhari, did not present his academic qualifications to the Independent 
National Electoral Commission, INEC, even as he prepares for the 2015 
presidential contest.<br />

Unlike his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, counterpart, President 
Goodluck Jonathan, whose academic certificates were conspicuously 
displayed by the commission upon presentation, Buhari’s credentials were
 visibly without trace at the commission’s office at Area 10, Abuja.<br />

The former Head of State, explained in an affidavit he deposed, which
 he submitted to the commission that all his academic credentials were 
with the Secretary, Military Board.<br />

The affidavit deposed at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High 
Court, Abuja and dated November 24,2014, was stamped and received at 
INEC headquarters on December 18, 2014.<br />

In the affidavit, Buhari said:<em> “All my academic qualifications 
(documents) as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, 
are currently with the Secretary Military Boards as at the time of this 
affidavit.”</em><br />

He added: <em>“The affidavit is made in good faith and for record purpose.”</em>
