But you can actually have sex while she is having her period.
Here's how to do it right:
- Be ready for the bloody mess: In almost every case, there is release of menstrual fluid so you should not have your best sheets laid out. It is better to use thick, colored blankets, towels or spread sheets that you can dispose off after sex.
- Tackle the odour. Sometimes, the menstrual fluid has an unpleasant odour. So to forestall this, have the air scented — spraying a strong perfume or lighting scented candles will be a good move.
- Have lots of tissue paper nearby. Because of the 'leaking' menstrual fluid, it would be nice to have a lot of tissue paper/toilet roll that you can clean up with every now and then.
- Try a combine shower hour. Sex in the shower at this period is a wise choice, especially as the menstrual fluid gets washed away as she releases it. The wetness is also good for you both.
- Stay healthy by using condoms. At this period, the risk of getting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are much higher. For this reason, á condom is your best friend. Use it.
- Stay traditional and simple. This is not a period to be too adventurous. Save the kamasutra moves for another period and use the the missionary position. The blood flow will be reduced with the woman lying on her back.
- Skim the waters. Try not to penetrate too deep because you just might start an endless flow of blood. So remain on the surface with gentle thrusts.
- Oral sex is a no no. Do not be tempted to give her a quick mouth job unless you are willing to get a mouthful of menstrual fluid. You surely won't like it.
- Focus on not genital regions. You can boost the sexual experience by focussing more on parts other than the vagina. Turn your attention to the breast and other erogenous zones onn her body.
- Clean up/take a shower immediately after. You totally need to wash off as soon as you are done. Don't let the juice dry up on your body.

The Channel O Africa Music Video Awards took place on November 29, 2014 the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto. While the event was a success as African artistes were celebrated, the biggest news in Nigeria was Davido.
The
O.B.O pop star was nominated five times but he failed to take home any
award. In a year where Davido has dominated award ceremonies it was
strange to see him not win an award at the Channel O Africa Music Video
Awards.
Davido has taken the loss in good stride and has commented on the issue. "BIG UPS TO EVERYONE THAT VOTED .. U LOSE SOME U WIN SOME!! GOD BLESS EVERYONE THAT WON TONITE " posted Davido on his Instagram page. He put up a picture which read "Keep In Mind That Someone Else Is Happy With A Lot Less Than What You Have."

"You may cover up here, but before God, there is no cover up!" - Obasanjo Blasts Jonathan Again!
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has again torn at President Goodluck Jonathan, saying Nigerian democracy remained at risk due to the action of the present administration.
Speaking at a book Launch in honour of the pioneer chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, Mustapha Akanbi, in Abuja, Mr. Obasanjo, who is the Chairman of the occasion, said the president should stop encouraging ‘verbal violence which may not physically hurt but has ways of degenerating into physical violence’.
Mr. Obasanjo said the greatest indictment against any administration is to be seen trying to destroy opposition of all sorts which invariably mean destroying democracy.
“Management of democracy without resorting to brute force and dictatorial tendencies must be cultivated,” the former President said.
“As a leader, you must not deliberately do evil or condone evil. You should know that you will one day give account to God, you may cover up here, but before God, there is no cover up.”
The former president also spoke at lenght on the President’s handling of the Boko Haram insurgency, corruption, the economy and youth unemployment.
On insecurity, Mr. Obasanjo said Boko Haram is not out to “frustrate anyone’s political efforts” and lamented that it took Mr. Jonathan the years to fully understand the menace.
On corruption, Mr. Obasanjo said, “when the head is rotten, the whole body is useless”
On the economy, he said Nigeria would continue to sink deeper and that what Nigerians are told about the state of the economy “is not truly what the economy is”.
“The economy is in doldrums, if not in reverse,” he said.
Mr. Obasanjo’s latest attack on the President is coming seven days after he rated Mr. Jonathan’s performance as below average.
The former president had spoken last weekend in Abeokuta while addressing book writers as part of activities marking the Ake Arts and Book Festival.
“I rate this current administration below average,” Mr. Obasanjo said in response to a question about Mr. Jonathan’s performance.
The former president also said he deserved credit for helping an individual from a minority tribe become Nigeria’s President.
“Rather than take blame for bringing Jonathan to power, I should be taking credit,” he added.
